The U.S. military's Central Command (CENTCOM) announced a new wave of strikes on Iran Wednesday morning, following a seven-hour overnight barrage. The attacks are designed to degrade Iranian military capabilities used to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

This marks the fourth consecutive night of U.S. airstrikes. Iranian officials report the latest overnight strikes wounded more than 260 people, with a government spokesperson claiming at least 30 killed in recent days.

Iran retaliated against U.S. allies in the region. Kuwait confronted hostile drone attacks, Bahrain's alert sirens sounded, and Jordan shot down three Iranian missiles.

President Trump escalated his rhetoric, telling Fox News the U.S. will target Iranian power plants and bridges next week unless Tehran negotiates. "You better make a deal, you're not going to have anything left," he said.
