Four Jewish community ambulances belonging to Hatzolah, a volunteer medical emergency service, were set on fire overnight in northwest London. British leaders have identified the incident as an “antisemitic arson attack.”

The London Fire Brigade sent six fire engines and 40 firefighters to the scene. Multiple cylinders on the vehicles exploded, shattering nearby windows. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.

Security footage showed three suspects wearing hooded clothing approaching the vehicles before setting them alight.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the incident “a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack” and urged anyone with information to come forward.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack as “cowardly” and vowed to increase security and police presence in the area.

The incident occurred in the Golders Green neighborhood, home to a significant Jewish population. Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis emphasized the need for unity against hatred and intimidation.

Hatzolah, founded in Brooklyn in the 1960s, provides emergency medical services to Jewish communities globally.
