King Charles III stated Thursday that "the law must take its course" following the arrest of his brother, former Prince Andrew. The King expressed "deepest concern" regarding the news and suspicion of misconduct in public office.
"What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated," Charles said. "In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation."
Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested for suspected misconduct in public office following revelations in the Jeffrey Epstein files. He was arrested on his 66th birthday. King Charles had previously stripped his brother of royal titles amid scrutiny over his association with Epstein and accusations of sex trafficking.
