More than 350 years after his death, remains believed to be of Count d'Artagnan have been found under a Dutch church. Deacon Jos Valke identified the bones, which include a bullet and a 1660 coin, confirming the burial site as sacred ground. An archaeologist is cautious, waiting for DNA confirmation. A sample has been taken and sent to Germany for analysis. This could be a significant moment in d'Artagnan’s 28-year research career.
