Nova Scotia RCMP are renewing their call for the public to provide “fact-based tips” as the investigation into the disappearance of Lilly and Jack Sullivan approaches the one-year mark.

On May 2, 2025, four-year-old Jack and his six-year-old sister Lilly wandered into dense woods near their family's mobile home, about 140 kilometers north of Halifax. They have not been seen since.

Extensive search efforts-including ground crews, helicopters, drones with heat-seeking sensors, divers, and cadaver dogs-have yielded only a few boot prints and fragments of a pink blanket belonging to Lilly. Investigators have interviewed 106 people, reviewed over 8,100 video files, and prioritized 1,191 tips, but no significant breakthrough has emerged.

Staff Sergeant Rob McCamon emphasized the need for specific, verifiable information. “Rumour and speculation won’t lead us to Lilly and Jack,” he said. McCamon is scheduled to take questions at a Thursday morning news conference.
