A shooting at a popular Toronto street festival has left two people dead.
Toronto police say the incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. at the Salsa on St. Clair festival. The event celebrates Latin culture in the city's midtown area.
Officers found five people with gunshot wounds at the scene near St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue. Two victims were pronounced dead.
The public is being asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
