Arsenal hold firm on £30m Nketiah valuation amid Marseille interest

Arsenal value Eddie Nketiah at £30m as Marseille continue their attempts to seal a move for the England striker.

The Gunners academy product is a primary target for Marseille and the two clubs have opened talks over a potential deal.

The Ligue 1 side want to structure a deal far lower than their £30m valuation and will need Arsenal to be flexible. Talks over an agreement are ongoing, but Marseille’s current offer has been deemed too low.

The Gunners will allow Nketiah to leave to play regular first team football after finding his game on time limited last season.

Meanwhile, Marseille are also monitoring the situation of Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Marseille are also monitoring the situation of Andreas Pereira, who has also attracted interest from Juventus

The Brazil midfielder has attracted interest from across Europe this summer - Juventus among the clubs to have considered him.

Pereira has emerged as a key figure for Fulham, who would like to keep the player but their is rival interest in the 28-year-old.

Elsewhere, Chelsea continue to monitor the future of fellow Brazilian player Murillo, who is valued between £55m-£60m.

The Nottingham Forest centre back emerged as one of the breakout stars of last season and is viewed as one of the best defensive talents in the Premier League.

But Forest want a big sum for Murillo and it remains to be seen whether clubs are prepared to meet Forest’s valuation.
