No Mbappe
Unfortunately for the Real Madrid fans in attendance, they will not get a glimpse of Kylian Mbappe in a white shirt tonight.
Despite being unveiled at the Bernabeu after his blockbuster free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, the Frenchman is still on holiday and not back in training yet.
Warm-ups complete
The players are heading back to the locker rooms with just over 10 minutes until we kick off.
Still a lot of empty seats but surely they be filled come kick-off time.
Atmosphere is building
Fears for the coaches
If you aren't aware, this is the home of the NFL's New York Giants and Jets.
You'd think that a state-of-the-art stadium that regularly hosts major sporting events outside of American football would have one of the best fields in the US?
Wrong.
As Jason Kelce points out below, MetLife (which will be hosting the 2026 World Cup final) has got serious issues.
Boos for Barcelona
There definitely seems like for Real Madrid fans in here than Barcelona and that's evident by the Catalan giants coming out to huge boos.
On my way out to New Jersey, there were definitely more Real jerseys than Barcelona.
How's pre-season gone so far?
Real Madrid have only played one game this summer and that was a 1-0 defeat by AC Milan in Chicago on Wednesday night.
They'll be desperate to get their first win of the tour against their most bitter rival tonight before heading on to North Carolina to play Chelsea on Tuesday.
As for Barcelona, they've also played just one game and edged out Manchester City on penalties in midweek.
They go up against AC Milan on Tuesday before heading back to Spain.
Here come the players
MetLife Stadium is only a quarter full at the moment but the atmosphere is rocking and the Real Madrid goalkeepers get a huge ovation as they come out.

Tonight's teams
Given we're just the other side of a summer of international tournaments, the American crowd can be quite excited with the teams Carlo Ancelotti and Hansi Flick have put out tonight...
Good evening!
