Camino Network, a layer-1 blockchain for the travel industry, has partnered with Outlier Ventures and joined its Ascent token launch program. This collaboration aims to prepare Camino for its upcoming CAM token launch at the end of this year.

Outlier Ventures’ Ascent program provides expert advice and support for later-stage projects. Camino Network will work closely with Outlier to navigate its route to web3 tokenization, benefiting from their expertise in critical areas.

Over the past two years, Camino Network has developed into a decentralized ecosystem for the travel industry. While the CAM token has not yet launched on exchanges, the network has recorded over 200,000 transactions generated by travel tech companies and their applications.

More than 200 established brands and startups are already on board, with over 40 use cases in development.

“With strong backing from global travel leaders, Camino Network is poised to transform the travel industry. The web3 travel ecosystem will accelerate the integration of cutting-edge web3 technologies to build a more efficient, interoperable, and future-proof travel industry,” Thomas Stirnimann, Council President of the Camino Network Foundation, said.

Stirnimann added that the partnership with Outlier Ventures prepares Camino to scale globally.

Camino Network is backed by 200+ brands, 100+ validators, and over $10 million in funding. Outlier Ventures, founded in 2014, has a portfolio of over 320 global investments and has helped raise over $350 million in seed funding for web3 companies.

“As the first blockchain platform dedicated to the travel sector, Outlier Ventures sees immense opportunities with Camino Network to enhance processes and create innovative travel products that will benefit the industry and customers globally. Through our Ascent token launch program, we are excited to support Camino Network in its mission to transform the travel industry for all stakeholders,” Matt Law, Chief Commercial Officer at Outlier Ventures, concluded.
