Slight change to how we're doing things...

Well those of you in the know will know that it's not just the Champions League that's getting a revamp this term.

Granted, it's not exactly as glitzy a competition, but there's a new way of drawing the teams in the Carabao Cup for this season.

You can take a look at just how things have been shaken up ahead of the draw tonight...

Hammers leave it late

So, Ipswich have gone to penalties with Wimbledon, while Newcastle and Forest look set for a similar fate.

West Ham, though managed to get through in normal time, and you can re-live the action from the London Stadium below with KATHRYN BATTE'S report.

Penalties beckoning...

Right, so as it stands, we're on the verge of penalties at two of our games.

Newcastle are being held by Forest, while Ipswich's late equaliser has them heading for spot-kicks at Wimbledon.

Southampton have found a fifth - taking that game to eight in total with Cardiff?! - while Brentford and West Ham look set to join Wolves in the hat for the third round.

It's been a hectic second round so far...

So the powerhouses are coming into the competition from the third round, but we've had some brilliant action in the second this week.

We've seen AFC Wimbledon push Premier League new boys Ipswich to extra time as it stands, while Cardiff and Southampton have shared six goals and some 13 goals scored by Stoke, Brighton and Crystal Palace between them last night.

There's still a few minutes to go in most of the games tonight, and we'll be running through the action from those games as the results come through!
