Crystal Palace vs Man United - Premier League: Live score and updates

Garnacho back in

Alejandro Garnacho will be a happy man today.

At the start of the season, most people would have assumed he would be starting every week for Manchester United.

But after four matches in the Premier League, his only minutes had come from the bench.

Well, now his time has come to impress from the gun, and I'm sure he is chomping at the bit to get going.

He scored against Southampton and bagged two against Barnsley in the League Cup, so I think he deserves his time to shine.

Will he impress?

Crystal Palace Team News - TWO changes

And here is how the hosts line-up.

Oliver Glasner makes just the two changes to the side that drew at home to Leicester City last week.

Daichi Kamada and Chris Richards come in for Cheick Doucoure and Nathaniel Clyne.

Happy with the side, Palace fans?

Man United Team News - Garnacho STARTS

Well then, the rumour is true...

Marcus Rashford has been dropped by Erik ten Hag this evening and instead, Alejandro Garnacho makes his first Premier League start of the season.

Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount both return from injuries to take a place on the bench, while Manuel Ugarte remains there too.

Just the one change from their win over Southampton last Saturday.

Breaking:Rashford SET to be benched

Huge news early doors from Selhurst Park.

It is being reported that Marcus Rashford will not start on the left wing for Manchester United this evening.

Based on the fact he has scored three goals in the past week, I find that rather surprising.

I wonder who will play there instead?

We will find out in just a few minutes time...

Redemption time?

The football just keeps on coming today, isn't it just great?

There are already currently six Premier League games ongoing as I type this post, and we have one more cracker to finish off the day.

Manchester United are travelling down to a ground in which they were humiliated last season.

Crystal Palace made Erik ten Hag's side look more than a little bit silly last season, so I'm sure the Dutchman will want revenge.

We will have to see whether his side can enact it, though. Whatever happens, it's going to be a belter of an evening south of the River Thames.

That's enough of an introduction, let's get this show on the road.
