Noni Madueke was a very popular man among Chelsea fans following his leading role in Sunday's 6-2 win at Wolves.
However, as far as Wolves supporters were concerned Madueke was public enemy No 1 - and not just because of his 14-minute hat-trick in the second half.
Madueke was booed and jeered by the home crowd at Molineux from the very first minute.
Why? All because of an Instagram post that Madueke made public, apparently by accident, on the eve of the game.
Madueke uploaded - and then swiftly deleted - a message to his Instagram story. The post had the city of Wolverhampton tagged and the message read: 'Everything about this place is s***'.
On the eve on Sunday's match, Madueke called Wolverhampton 's***' via his Instagram story
Although this was quickly deleted, it was live just long enough for it to be screenshotted multiple times before going viral.
Madueke followed it up with another message that read: 'Damnn wrong instagram account.. You lot are too fast'.
Having scored his first ever Premier League hat-trick in Wolverhampton less than 24 hours after his negative viral comment, at least Madueke now has a reason to think fondly of the West Midlands city.
However, he may not be welcome back any time soon.
At least the Chelsea fans love him right now, though. One tweeted during Sunday's game: 'Called Wolverhampton a s*** place. They boo'd him the entire game. Scores against them. Noni Madueke you are HIM'.
A second Blues supporter gloated: 'Wolves should delete their entire club, Madueke chatted s***, bagged a hat-trick and then Neto bagged assist on return to his old club'.
Another message read: 'Nah Noni Madueke talked his s*** about that s***hole city and backed it up on the pitch man what a player'.
A fourth observer wrote: 'Calling an entire city s*** before proceeding to drop a hattrick on their football club the next day. Madueke might have to walk out of here with bodyguards'.
