Incredible footage filmed from stands emerges showing Mo Salah goal

One fortunate Liverpool fan who briefly took their phone out to record part of Liverpool's pre-season clash against Liverpool struck the jackpot when they captured incredible footage of Mohamed Salah's goal.

The Premier League pair met in Philadelphia as they continued their pre-season tour of the United States, with Liverpool coming out on top courtesy of strikes from Mo Salah and Fabio Carvalho, with Kai Havertz later scoring for the Gunners.

The opening goal of the game got Liverpool supporters purring as Arne Slot's vision begins to take full effect with a series of one-touch passes finally seeing Harvey Elliott release Salah down the wing.

Reds supporters and players are still trying to adjust to the change in style following Jurgen Klopp's departure at the end of last season, but are starting to get an idea of how Slot want his team to play.

Salah's goal showed a combination of patient build-up play, pinpoint passing and a typical no-nonsense finish from the Egyptian who looks set to stay at the club for another season.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in Liverpool's 2-1 friendly win over Arsenal in Philadelphia

Footage that has since gone viral from inside the Lincoln Financial Field stadium captures the moment perfectly, with fans hailing Liverpool's performance against last season's Premier League runners-up.

Sharing a detailed clip of the goal on X that has currently been viewed over 200,000 times, the fan stated: 'Decided to record for a minute and caught the Mo Salah goal!'.

The goal was filmed from an upper tier in the stands and highlights the ball being passed around Arsenal's press up to Salah's cool-as-you-like finish that set the Reds on their way to victory in the friendly clash.

Analysing the goal, one fan replied to the clip stating: 'That pass is Incredible. Mo is still 10 yards inside our half the last time Harvey sees him, and he weights it perfectly.

'Imagine how stupid he looks if Mo doesn't continue his run. We really don't give Harvey enough credit for the things he does well.'

Liverpool will take on rivals Man United in their final pre-season friendly in the United States before returning to England for other warm-up games ahead of the Premier League getting underway.
