LISTEN to It's All Kicking Off! Manuel Neuer deserves to be called out

Chris Sutton did not hold back in his criticism of Manuel Neuer as he and Ian Ladyman discussed the fallout of Bayern's 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

Unai Emery's Champions League debutants pulled off a heroic victory courtesy of Jhon Duran's stunning goal as Vincent Kompany's Bayern side fell to an agonising defeat in the Midlands.

Goalkeeper Neuer and England captain Harry Kane were slammed by the German pressfor their performances against Villa, with Sutton and Ladyman insisting criticism of the 'ego-mad' shot-stopper is warranted.

Neuer is widely-regarded as one of the game's greatest goalkeepers and is still Bayern's main choice between the posts for the biggest fixtures at 38-years-old.

However, on Mail Sport's It's All Kicking Off! podcast, former Premier League winner, Sutton, and football editor, Ladyman, debated whether Neuer and Kane deserve to be slammed for their recent showing.
