Liverpool REJECT bid from Nottingham Forest for an academy graduate

Forest had a £15million offer for the Republic of Ireland international turned down in February and have returned to try and prise away the 25-year old.

However, the latest bid was dismissed with Anfield sources saying it was 'nowhere near' the club's valuation and that they have no desire to sell the keeper anyway.

Forest are looking for another keeper with interest building in Matt Turner.

Kelleher is highly regarded at Liverpool but has made it clear he wants more first team opportunities after proving himself an able deputy for Alisson Becker.

With the Brazilian out injured for part of last season, Kelleher made a career-best 26 appearances in all competitions, including starring in their victory over Chelsea in the EFL Cup final in February.

Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had valued Kelleher at around £35m though.

Liverpool have signed Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia but he will remain in Spain on loan for the season.
