Man United stars send messages of support to Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United's players have taken to Instagram to wish Aaron Wan Bissaka well after he sealed a move from Man United to West Ham in a deal worth £15million on Tuesday.

The full back has agreed a seven-year deal with the Hammers, becoming their eighth signing this summer.

Wan-Bissaka spent five seasons at Old Trafford and it's clear he was a popular member of the squad.

The Englishman took to Instagram after the transfer was announced, writing: 'to everyone associated with Manchester United, thank you.

'You’ve helped me fulfill so many dreams of mine & I leave the club with memories to last me a lifetime.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka's former Man United team-mates were clearly sad to see him leave

'I’m so grateful for the love, help and support I’ve had from players & staff during the last 5 years and wish you all nothing but the best. Thank you to the fans, you’ve stuck by us throughout the ups and downs. Appreciate you. Thank you so much, Reds.'

His former team-mates were quick to comment with Marcus Rashford saying 'good luck my bro'.

Jadon Sancho echoed the sentiment, writing: 'my family! All the best brother!'

Bruno Fernandes commented 'will miss you spider' while Kobbie Mainoo simply posted a heart emoji.

The defender has been a long-term target of West Ham but the deal appeared to have stalled in the last week over an exit settlement surrounding the reduction of his salary in east London.

But the transfer was pushed over the line on Monday after the defender completed his medical and he could make his debut in the season opener against Aston Villa on Saturday.

‘It was a no brainer for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here,’ Wan-Bissaka said.

Bruno Fernandes told the full-back that the team would miss him going forward

'It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming. I was born here, so I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me.

‘I’m happy to be here, am grateful for the warm welcome, and I am excited to be playing for the club and will give it my all.

‘I can’t wait to get on the pitch, get to know the players, and push on from there. I see a team that is in it together, that will push each other to win, and a group that has got each others’ backs through thick and thin, so being part of that and having that insurance helps a lot when you are surrounded by a good squad.’
