Presidio expands AWS partnership to drive AI adoption and cloud migration

Information technology services firm Presidio Inc. today announced that it had signed an expanded multiyear “strategic collaboration agreement” with Amazon Web Services Inc. to increase innovation, accelerate artificial intelligence adoption and cloud migration, and significantly expand vertical industry-focused services.

The agreement between the two companies will leverage Presidio’s full suite of consulting services with AWS technologies. Presidio says the agreement will help clients migrate, modernize and optimize their data and applications to better leverage new technologies such as generative AI and machine learning.

The company’s Rapid Innovation methodology will also be available to help customers use AWS’s generative AI services for applications such as intelligent document processing, AI-enabled self-service, AI-assisted software development and data modernization.

Presidio’s expanded agreement with AWS aims to support clients in modernizing their applications and data estate. By leveraging both cloud-native and platform-based deployments, clients can achieve greater scalability, flexibility, faster time to market and cost optimization.

The partnership will also develop industry-focused solutions for sectors such as healthcare, telecom/media/entertainment, financial services and the public sector. The solutions will help organizations drive new revenue streams and enhance customer experiences by utilizing the latest AWS platform services.

Additionally, the agreement includes offering workshops designed to accelerate the modernization of customers’ applications and data platforms. The workshops will align business outcomes with tailored technology strategies to help clients harness the power of generative AI to meet their unique goals. “Our team is focused on accelerating innovation and cloud adoption, and this expanded SCA will further deepen the Presidio team’s expertise in AWS throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle,” said Presidio Chief Innovation Officer Chris Cagnazzi.

As an existing AWS partner, Presidio is continually adding to its six AWS Competencies and nearly 450 AWS Certifications across the DevOps, Solution Architect, Security, Big Data and Systems Operations disciplines to build, deploy and manage complex cloud architectures.
