Ryan Kent's contract at Fenerbahce was cancelled by mutual consent after the Turkish club became aware that his situation was heading to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over his treatment.
The 27-year old forward had been forced to train alone after falling out with previous coach Ismail Kartal, even undertaking gym sessions on his own. The club’s board backed Kartal and Kent continued to be ostracised under new boss Jose Mourinho.
Despite signing a four-year deal after joining from Rangers in 2023, Kent managed just 10 starts, scoring one goal - on his full debut.
The former Liverpool and England U20 international had continued to maintain his fitness and trained to a professional standard to be available for selection but remained marginalised by Fenerbahce's coaching staff.
