Ronaldo Jr spotted in Man United star's shirt

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is seemingly so enthralled by one Manchester United star that he even wears the player's shirt while doing his homework.

A photo shared by his mother Georgina Rodriguez on Instagram shows the 14-year-old sat at a table studying with the player's name and number on his back.

Ronaldo's eldest son has followed his father wherever he has played, featuring for Juventus, Manchester United, and Al-Nassr's academies.

Portugal legend Ronaldo has previously said he will not 'pressure' his son into pursuing football but all the signs so far show him being a devotee of the beautiful game.

And it appears Ronaldo Jr is a fan of Alejandro Garnacho, as it is the 20-year-old's shirt that he donned during his homework session.

That is sure to be heartwarming for Garnacho, who has previously revealed his admiration for 39-year-old Ronaldo. They were team-mates at United and featured in six games together in 2022.

Garnacho was on cloud nine after playing alongside Ronaldo in a 3-0 Europa League win over Sheriff for United in October 2022, writing: 'I don't know if it's real or if I'm dreaming.'

He also posted a picture of them from the game in which Ronaldo has his arm around his shoulder.

That match was Garnacho's debut and he could not have envisioned many more special events than playing alongside Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Indeed, after assisting the icon against Real Sociedad in the same competition, he wrote: '18 years and 125 days dreaming of this moment. Thanks idol, Cristiano.'

Earlier this season, young Argentinian star Garnacho liked a social media post detailing Ronaldo's criticism of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

'Man United coach can not say they can't compete to win the Premier League and the Champions League every year,' Ronaldo told FIVE, in quotes which were shared by journalist Fabrizio Romano and then liked by Garnacho.

'This is Man United! You have to be there, to mentally say... listen, maybe we don't have that potential, but I cannot say that. We're going to try. You have to try.

Garnacho reciprocates the love towards the Portuguese contingent, having been overawed after playing alongside Ronaldo

Ronaldo went on to suggest that ten Hag should take advice from his assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy about United's values.

Ronaldo said: 'If ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy... maybe he can help. He knows the club and the club should listen to the guys who were there, as this is really important.

'Rio Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson... you need advice from these people. You cannot rebuild a club without knowledge.'
