Brentford's £60m-rated striker Ivan Toney is wanted by Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia who are willing to offer a three-year deal.
Brentford will start their top flight campaign at home to Crystal Palace this weekend, with Toney set to play a role - something few saw happening at the end of last season.
He has been involved in pre-season with Thomas Frank's side since returning from Euro 2024 with England, and could start in the capital this weekend.
Bees boss Thomas Frank had been resigned to Toney leaving Brentford, but that has not yet happened
He still wants to leave Brentford, but has just over two weeks for all parties to agree on his transfer.
Should he move to Al Ahli, he would join the likes of Edouard Mendy, Riyad Mahrez and Roberto Firmino.
Brentford, meanwhile, face losing another forward too with Wolves interested in Yoane Wissa as a replacement for Pedro Neto.
Neto joined Chelsea in a £54million deal earlier this week, and Gary O'Neil's side will now look to invest that money to strengthen their forward line.
Wissa, 27, joined Brentford from Lorient in 2021 and has played over 100 games for the club.
