Woo wrote and directed the original Hong Kong cult classic of the same name, which dropped in 1989 starring Chow Yun-fat, Danny Lee and Sally Yeh. This time, he's teamed up with Oppenheimer producer Brian Helgeland to bring a reimagined version of the story to the small screen. The Killer is set in Paris and features Omar Sy, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sam Worthington and Diana Silvers.
Emmanuel plays Zee, a mysterious contract killer with a reputation for precision. When Zee is unwilling to complete an assignment under her handler's orders, her work life crumbles and multiple people -- including law enforcement -- are after her. Amid a conspiracy, she goes on the run.
