Manchester United's faltering season went from bad to worse on Sunday, as Erik ten Hag's side suffered a dramatic, late defeat at the hands on West Ham in London.
After a first-half of missed chances, the Red Devils were made to pay by West Ham substitute Crysencio Summerville, who fired the hosts ahead with a well-taken opener in the 74th minute.
Casemiro thought he had earned at least a draw for Ten Hag's travelling side when he equalised in the 81st minute after being set up by Joshua Zirkzee, but a controversial penalty conceded by Matthijs de Ligt handed West Ham the perfect opportunity to snatch all three points.
To the delight of Hammers supporters, Jarrod Bowen stepped up to fire his penalty past Andre Onana in the 92nd minute, handing Julen Lopetegui a seismic victory and piling even more pressure on Red Devils boss Ten Hag.

Lukasz Fabianski 6.5 - His first start in the Premier League this season. Nearly had a howler when he raced out of his goal to give Dalot a free shot, but made a phenomenal save to deny Casemiro before half-time. Could do nothing about the Brazilian’s header in the second.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka 6 – Gave Garnacho far too much room in the first half and was lucky the forward’s finishing was wasteful. Gets caught out of position too often and was not tight to Dalot in the build-up to United’s goal. Did improve in the second half and was more involved going forward.
Konstantinos Mavropanos 5 (Booked) - One of four players brought into the starting XI but struggled to deal with Garnacho’s runs in between him and Wan-Bissaka and was exposed for pace several times. Subbed at half-time - and West Ham improved.
Max Kilman 7 - The reliable presence in West Ham’s defence. Ensured Hojlund did not have a sniff and made a number of important tackles and interceptions.
Emerson 6 (Booked) - Did a steady defensive job on Rashford, who barely had a kick of the ball down the right wing. But fluffed a huge chance from three yards out, which would have given his team the lead in the second half.
Guido Rodriguez - 6.5 - A tad careless in possession at times but his interception from Garnacho’s loose pass kick-started the move for West Ham’s first goal. Steadily improving as the games go on.

Edson Alvarez 6 - Started slowly and was caught out of position in the early stages of the first half. Improved as the game went on
Jarrod Bowen - 6.5 - Had not enjoyed his most productive day in front of goal but he was involved in West Ham’s opener. His cross for Ings eventually ended up with Summerville and he kept his cool to score the penalty.
Carlos Soler 5 - Handed a first Premier League start and looked bright on the odd occasions he did get the ball, but did not make a significant impact on the game and was taken off at half-time.
Lucas Paqueta - 4 (Booked) - Another disappointing afternoon for the Brazilian. Could not get hold of the ball and picked up a needless yellow card midway through the first half. Taken off at the break.
Michail Antonio - 6 - One of many players to start slowly before improving as the game went on. Worked hard for his team and should have got an assist when he put the ball on a plate for Emerson.

Andre Onana 6 - Had barely had a save to make before Summerville opened the scoring in the 74th minute. Could not get close to Bowen’s accurate and powerful penalty.
Diogo Dalot 5 - Should have opened the scoring before half-time after rounding Fabianski, but could only volley over with the goal at his mercy. Could not handle Summerville in the second half and let him go for West Ham’s goal. Made up for it by playing his part in the equaliser.
Matthijs de Ligt (Booked) 5 - A steady first half but struggled in the second. Not tight enough to Ings in the build up to West Ham’s goal before giving a controversial penalty away.
Lisandro Martinez 6.5 - Had also enjoyed a fine start to the game until West Ham got on top in the second half. Could perhaps have stopped Bowen delivering the cross for West Ham’s goal but by no means at fault.

Noussair Mazraoui 6.5 - Back in his more familiar left back role after starting at No 10 in midweek. Broke up play nicely and made an important challenge to deny Bowen a clear run on goal. Taken off with an injury as the game drew to a close.
Casemiro 7 - Saw a header fantastically saved by Fabianski in the first half but was in the right place at the right time to nod in the equaliser in the second. One of United’s best players in possession.
Christian Eriksen 5 - A quiet afternoon for the Dane, who was not particularly effective and faded out of things as West Ham got on top in the second half.
Marcus Rashford 4 - A very quiet afternoon for the forward, who missed his chance to impress the on-looking Lee Carsley ahead of England’s fixtures next month. Wasted the one chance that fell his way. Subbed on the hour mark.
Bruno Fernandes 5 - Could have had multiple assists if his team-mates had been more clinical in the first half but also missed a good chance himself. Drifted out of the game in the second and his passing and shooting became wayward.
Alejandro Garnacho 5 - Wasteful in front of goal with two missed opportunities early in the game. His loose pass to Casemiro led to West Ham taking the lead and he did little in the second half.
Rasmus Hojlund 4 - Barely had a touch in the first half and, barring a long-range shot that Fabianski easily saved, was anonymous in the second. Looked isolated in the lone striker role.
