What is YOUR least favourite football theme tune?

Tim Lovejoy, Helen Chamberlain and the old Soccer AM crew debated some of their football pet peeves in the latest episode of Mail Sport's new Soccer A-Z podcast.

Tubes joined Lovejoy and Chamberlain for the inaugural episode of Soccer A-Z, which included several hilarious tales from the gang's time on the hit Sky Sports programme, which was axed at the end of last season.

During this week's second episode, the former Soccer AM stars debated what they would give the red card in football, prompting Lovejoy to bemoan one football theme song in particular.

'My first what's wrong with football is Celeste - this is it,' Lovejoy said, referring to the artist's hit pop song Stop This Flame, which has been used for Sky Sports' Premier League coverage over the last few seasons.

'I've interviewed her, lovely woman, on Sunday brunch,' he added. 'She sings that song, a great song - was - but it's being going every single season. You can't keep doing it around the football. I love TV football but they've got to mix it up. It used to be every year right? Since 2020 it's being going for, don't you think they need to change it?'

Each weekly episode of the podcast will be led by the alphabet and will include a variety of football-inspired challenges as dictated by the letter of the week, with a quiz incorporated into each adventure.
