Winklevoss Twins Grill Kamala Harris on Crypto Reset Stance

Over the weekend, the crypto community at the 2024 Bitcoin Conference witnessed Donald J. Trump go all in on crypto. There were rumors that Kamala Harris would attend. However, she pulled out at the last minute. However, that was not her end of trying to win over crypto voters.

Kamala Harris to Support Crypto?

Mainstream media houses report that Kamala Harris’s team has reached out to top crypto elites to make up for Biden’s bad crypto stance. Her moves do not sit well with many in the crypto community, especially the Winklevoss Twins.

Cameron Winklevoss has called her current stance a “Big Bluff.” He underscores that Harris and her advisors should do more for the crypto “reset” they are working towards.

Being respectful of the Vice President’s time, let’s be crystal clear here: [Kamala Harris] please don’t bother unless you are prepared to take swift, bold, and concrete action. You can’t burn bridges for 4 years and expect to rebuild them with words alone. As President Trump astutely pointed out this weekend at the [bitcoin Conference], we are a high IQ industry. We will not fall for any bluffs.

Cameron Winklevoss tells Kamala that the crypto industry “will not be swayed by what you say. We will only consider what you do.” The twins have asked Kamala to retire Gary Gensler before November.

Tyler Winklevoss echoes his brother, adding, “Run the playbook […] Get George Clooney to write an op-ed, have Obama make some calls, send the talking points to CNN, etc. You know what to do to fire [Gary Gensler.”
