Prominent analyst Darkfost says Bitcoin remains years away from a new all-time high. On October 6, 2025, BTC hit $126,100-the current cycle top. Since then, it has corrected for just 159 days.
Historical precedent shows longer waits: 1,180 days after the 2017 peak, 1,093 days after 2021, and 849 days before the 2025 high. Though intervals are shortening, the current downturn remains early-stage.
The April 2024 halving did not trigger the 2025 ATH-BTC surpassed $69,000 in March 2024, pre-halving. Darkfost stresses new ATHs follow bear market ends-not halvings. At press time, BTC trades at $71,429, up 6.91% weekly.
