Bitcoin rebounded sharply Saturday evening after President Donald Trump announced a major diplomatic breakthrough with Iran.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that an agreement has been largely negotiated between the United States, Iran, and other involved nations. A key provision includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Bitcoin climbed from a low of around $74,000 to $76,700, erasing earlier losses of roughly 4%.
