Bitget Wallet has partnered with Polymarket to launch a World Cup prediction campaign, targeting its 90 million users as onchain sports activity surges ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The initiative deepens Bitget Wallet's existing integration with Polymarket, using the tournament as a gateway to self-custodial crypto products. The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the US, Mexico, and Canada, will feature 48 teams and 104 matches over 39 days.

Polymarket's market for the 2026 World Cup winner has already surpassed $1.2 billion in total trading volume, with over $280 million in liquidity and daily activity approaching $30 million.

Bitget Wallet's campaign includes a $200,000 prize pool across champion picks, recurring predictions, and community watch parties. The company aims to make onchain markets more accessible from mobile wallets while turning major events into interactive crypto experiences.

Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, said prediction markets represent a new way to engage with global events, positioning wallets as the access layer for emerging onchain financial behavior. Elden Mirzoian, director of growth and partnerships at Polymarket, called the World Cup one of the biggest moments in global sports and said the partnership offers fans another way to connect with the tournament.
