Chainalysis is rolling out custom AI agents to its blockchain intelligence platform, enabling non-technical users to conduct complex crypto investigations using natural language queries.
Co-founder and CEO Jonathan Levin said the tools will empower law enforcement and traditional finance professionals to trace digital asset flows without deep blockchain expertise. The agents leverage insights from over 10 million investigations conducted in Chainalysis Reactor.
"Every enterprise is different," Levin said. "We’re building a platform for them to build their own agents."
The feature, set to launch this summer, is not a chatbot but a structured investigative assistant designed to identify relevant transactions, generate audit trails, and meet forensic standards.

The move follows competitor TRM Labs’ similar announcement, signaling a new era in blockchain forensics as criminal actors increasingly deploy AI themselves.
Chainalysis remains the leading analytics provider to U.S. law enforcement agencies tracking cross-border crypto crime.
