Crypto.com has partnered with KG Inicis-the largest payment gateway in South Korea-to roll out crypto payments for international tourists across the country.
KG Inicis processes hundreds of millions of transactions annually and serves approximately 190,000 affiliated merchants. The integration enables travelers to pay for goods and services in digital assets at physical stores and online platforms. Merchants may receive settlement instantly-in fiat or crypto.

Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, called KG Inicis a "fintech powerhouse" with 40% market share. Both firms are exploring joint marketing and new product development-pending regulatory approval.
The move follows Crypto.com’s February conditional approval for a US national bank charter and its recent ISO certification for AI systems management.
