Sharplink, Inc. has announced a significant increase in its Ethereum holdings, now totaling approximately 867,000 ETH, valued at $1.68 billion. The company, formerly known as Sharplink Gaming and now rebranded with the tagline 'Ethereum with an edge,' revealed a substantial shift in its investor base, with institutional ownership rising to 46% as of the close of 2025.

Sharplink's strategy centers on disciplined, focused management rather than aggressive accumulation. The firm stakes nearly 100% of its ETH holdings to generate yield, a practice emphasized by CEO Joseph Chalom as a key differentiator for institutional investors seeking stable returns and robust risk management.

Despite a broader market downturn that has seen Ethereum prices fall over 60% from their August peak, Sharplink continues to grow its ETH concentration per share. This resilience in holdings is attributed to staking rewards, providing a consistent yield stream. While the company, like other Ethereum treasuries, faces unrealized losses, its consistent approach to asset management aims to deliver long-term shareholder value.

Sharplink ranks as the second-largest corporate holder of Ethereum, following leader BitMine Immersion Technologies.
