Ledger now supports hardware wallet signing for MoonPay Agents. Users must manually approve every transaction-even as AI agents execute trades, swaps, and cross-chain transfers.

MoonPay launched its AI agent infrastructure in February. The integration routes all value-moving operations through Ledger’s secure on-device signer-supporting Nano S Plus, Nano X, Nano Gen5, Stax, and Flex.

Agents detect and interact with wallets on Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, Avalanche, and Base. Automatic app switching enables seamless blockchain traversal-every swap, bridge, or transfer requires physical confirmation.

"Today, most agents with wallets just have a private key sitting on disk somewhere," said Coinbase’s Erik Reppel. "You’re already seeing those wallets get exploited." MoonPay and Ledger aim to replace that risk with cryptographic certainty.
