Ripple has received a preliminary MiCA CASP authorization from Luxembourg’s CSSF. This "Green Light Letter" allows the company to begin scaling its regulated cryptoasset services across all 30 European Economic Area countries.

The approval is a significant step toward full MiCA compliance, which Ripple aims to achieve before the EU's July 1, 2026 deadline. While operations can start under this provisional authorization, full compliance remains contingent on fulfilling certain conditions.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has expressed confidence in completing these requirements, further solidifying the company's competitive position in the European market. Markets will be monitoring Ripple's progress in meeting the remaining requirements for full compliance, which could impact XRP's valuation.
