Startale Group announced a strategic collaboration with Sunnyside Labs, integrating Privacy Boost as the official privacy partner for the Startale App. This integration aims to bring self-custodial, on-chain privacy features to consumers using the Startale App and the Soneium blockchain.

Privacy Boost will deploy its full protocol stack, including TEE infrastructure and smart contracts, directly onto Soneium. This partnership marks the first time Privacy Boost will be incorporated into a consumer-facing application, enhancing the Startale App's capabilities which include asset management and payments.

The integration addresses the inherent visibility of on-chain transactions, such as counterparties and transfer amounts, which can be a concern as blockchain usage grows. Privacy Boost utilizes a hybrid architecture of trusted execution environments (TEEs) and zero-knowledge proofs to enable private transactions. It achieves proof generation times under 500 milliseconds and supports over 1,800 transactions per second, while maintaining selectable auditability for compliance and user self-custody.

"Not every transaction needs to be private, but every user should have the choice," stated Sota Watanabe, CEO of Startale Group. "With Privacy Boost integrated into the Startale App, privacy becomes something users can enable when it matters. It puts control in their hands."

Taem Park, Co-Founder and CEO of Sunnyside Labs, added, "Startale is serious about bringing privacy to consumer crypto, from everyday payments and card spending to mini apps. These are exactly the use cases Privacy Boost was built for."

Sunnyside Labs is a significant contributor to Ethereum and the OP Stack, developing privacy-first infrastructure for public blockchains. Their Privacy Boost product is designed for high-performance, compliant private transactions at a consumer scale.
