The XRP Ledger recorded its biggest spike in network usage in two months as a price recovery above $1.54 drove a wave of new wallet creation, active addresses, and transaction errors.
Total activated accounts climbed to nearly 7.86 million, with 3,317 new wallets added in a single day - the strongest daily figure since March 19. Active addresses jumped to 48,453, the highest count since March 30, according to Santiment.
Santiment attributed the activity surge to investor response to the price move, noting that broader network participation is generally a positive signal for medium- and long-term valuation.
However, failed transactions also spiked. Errors due to lack of authorization hit 1,332 on May 19, while insufficient funds caused 656 failures - both the highest since March 31 and April 19, respectively, per XRPScan.
XRP briefly touched $1.54 before pulling back below $1.50. Whether the usage holds beyond the immediate price action remains uncertain, but the network posted its most active stretch since late March.
