Billionaire investor Bill Ackman directed Pershing Square Capital to make a massive $2.09 billion bet on Microsoft (MSFT) during the first quarter of 2026. The fund acquired 5.65 million shares, making MSFT its fourth-largest holding.

On the sell side, Pershing trimmed its Uber position by 248,963 shares, retaining nearly 30 million shares worth $2.15 billion. The fund also slashed its Alphabet holdings by 95%, offloading both Class A and Class C stock.

Additionally, Pershing cut its Meta stake by 12,708 shares. As of March 31, Pershing’s largest holding remains Brookfield Corporation at 17.62%, followed by Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, and Restaurant Brands International.
