DBS confirmed on Thursday that customers faced difficulties accessing its digital banking services. The outage impacted the mobile app, PayLah!, PayNow, and account detail visibility.

Users encountered messages citing "heavy traffic" and were unable to log in or retrieve balances. Some POSB customers reported parallel disruptions.

The bank assured all deposits remain safe and advised alternatives: DBS/POSB ATMs, digiBot for balance checks, cash withdrawals at ATMs and POSB Cash-Points, and trade placement via relationship managers.

Downdetector logged over 2,000 reports for DBS and 625 for POSB within a one-hour window. No root cause or timeline for full restoration was disclosed.
