HSBC, a major global bullion-trading bank, is set to hire Mark Augustynak, a seasoned metals trader from ICBC Standard Bank. Augustynak will lead HSBC's worldwide metals trading business.
With two decades of experience in precious metals trading, Augustynak is slated to join HSBC in mid-2026.
This appointment follows the departure of Vincent Domien, who previously headed HSBC's metals trading and has since moved to the crypto group Tether. Domien is reportedly now set to join ICBC Standard Bank as its head of metals trading.
