A Texas construction firm has agreed to compensate individuals whose sensitive data was exposed in a 2024 breach.
The settlement covers losses from identity theft or fraud between January 6, 2024, and January 1, 2026. Victims may receive up to $5,000 with proof of harm. Additional payments of up to $500 cover ID replacement, credit monitoring, and credit freezes. Time spent addressing the breach is compensated at $25 per hour, up to three hours.
The breach, which occurred between January 6 and January 20, 2024, exposed names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license details, financial records, and medical information. The class action lawsuit was filed in March 2025. Claims must be submitted by June 1; final approval is set for June 4.
