Maple Leafs Extend Goaltender Artur Akhtyamov on Three-Year Deal

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed goaltender Artur Akhtyamov to a three-year contract extension Sunday.

The deal begins as a two-way agreement for 2026-27, then converts to one-way for 2027-28 and 2028-29. Its average annual value is $900,000.

Akhtyamov, 24, posted an 18-10-4 record with a 2.86 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 32 AHL games this season for the Toronto Marlies. He has 58 career AHL appearances, 29 wins, and four shutouts.
