Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that winger Noni Madueke is responding well and could be available for Sunday's critical Premier League match against Manchester City. However, Bukayo Saka has been ruled out.
Arsenal holds a six-point lead over second-place City, who have a game in hand. Despite a recent home loss, Arteta expressed confidence in his team's resolve.
"Bukayo is out, that's for sure, Mikel is out as well," Arteta stated. "Madueke is quite positive... I'm hopeful he can be available but we'll see."
Arteta also mentioned that several other players who have missed recent games are being assessed for the weekend clash.
The Gunners are aiming to secure their first Premier League title in 22 years and Arteta emphasized the necessity of a victory against City to maintain their challenge, stating, "We prepare every game to win."
