Aaron Rodgers declined to provide a concrete update on his potential return to the NFL for the 2026 season. Speaking on "The Pat McAfee Show," the four-time MVP stated he is not ready to make any major decisions regarding his playing future.

Rodgers, who is set to become a free agent next week, indicated that he is currently enjoying his offseason and spending time with his wife. He mentioned that while he has spoken with Steelers coach Mike McCarthy and GM Omar Khan, no contract offers or deadlines have been presented.

The quarterback led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a playoff appearance last season with a 10-6 record, throwing for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns. He signed a one-year deal with the team in June 2025.
