Barcelona forwards Ewa Pajor and Salma Paralluelo each scored two second-half goals to secure a 4-0 victory over Lyon in the women's Champions League final on Saturday. The win marks the Spanish giants' fourth European title.
After a tense first half where Lyon had a goal disallowed for offside, Patri Guijarro ignited the attack in the 55th minute. She won the ball deep in Barcelona's half, surged forward, and set up Pajor, who finished clinically from a tight angle.
Pajor struck again 14 minutes later after a defensive lapse from Lyon left her unmarked in front of goal. The Polish striker blasted a pass from Esme Brugts into the net from close range, doubling the lead.
Paralluelo then sealed the victory with a superb long-range strike in the 90th minute and added another on the break three minutes later, capping a brilliant second-half performance for the Spaniards.
