MUNICH, Germany - Bayern Munich delivered a dominant performance, defeating Union Berlin 4-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Bavarians scored three times in seven minutes, opening up a 12-point lead at the top of the table. With 70 points, Bayern are now within reach of an all-time club scoring record, having netted 97 league goals-four shy of the 1971-72 benchmark.

Michael Olise opened the scoring in the 42nd minute with a curling shot past keeper Frederik Ronnow. Serge Gnabry added the second in first-half stoppage time, followed by Harry Kane’s goal four minutes into the second half.

Kane, aiming to surpass Robert Lewandowski’s 41-goal Bundesliga season record, now has 31 goals with seven matches remaining.

Gnabry completed his brace in the 67th minute as Bayern maintained relentless pressure. Olise struck the woodwork late, and Kane nearly added another but chipped wide.

Bayern continue their pursuit of three major trophies, fresh off a 10-2 Champions League aggregate win over Atalanta.
