England has secured a place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinals following a dramatic 3-2 victory over Mexico at Azteca Stadium.
The win was sealed by a penalty from captain Harry Kane after England played much of the match shorthanded following Jarell Quansah's red card. Jude Bellingham had earlier scored twice to give England the lead.
The victory propels England into the next round, where they will face either Brazil or Norway on July 11 at Miami Stadium.
