Bayern Munich is just one game away from the Champions League final. Coach Vincent Kompany said Tuesday that his team and fans are preparing for an unforgettable moment in Wednesday's semi-final second leg against Paris St Germain.

The French side, defending champions, hold a narrow 5-4 lead from an exhilarating first leg where Bayern battled back from 5-2 down.

"There is this feeling that together we will take the next steps," Kompany told a press conference. "Few believed at the start of the season we would have a chance to reach the final. Now we are here."

Bayern has already secured the Bundesliga title and can complete the domestic double with a German Cup final win on May 23. Kompany, in his second season, remains calm under pressure.

"Total calmness," he said. "We want to win the match. We have ideas that will help us do that."
