EDMONTON - Connor McDavid recorded three assists as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Nashville Predators 3-1 on Sunday night, snapping a two-game losing streak.

Leon Draisaitl, Matthew Savoie and Zach Hyman scored for the Oilers (33-26-9). Draisaitl left the game after a hard hit from Ozzy Wiesblatt in the first period and did not return for the second, with no immediate update on his condition.

Fedor Svechkov scored for Nashville (29-28-9), which has lost six of its last eight. Connor Ingram made 26 saves for Edmonton; Justus Annunen stopped 27 for the Predators.

McDavid extended his point streak against Nashville to 18 games, matching his longest against any single opponent. He now has 51 points in 27 career games versus the Predators.

Mattias Ekholm picked up his 30th assist, leading all NHL defensemen in plus-minus rating (+108) since joining Edmonton at the 2023 trade deadline.

The Oilers improved to 25-4-5 this season when scoring first and have gone 16-1-3 against Nashville in their last 20 meetings.

Edmonton hosts San Jose on Tuesday. Nashville visits Winnipeg the same night.
