Ollie Chessum will start at blindside flanker for England's final Six Nations game against France in Paris on Saturday. This marks the only change to the team that lost to Italy. Coach Steve Borthwick has opted for Chessum's physicality and lineout prowess, moving Sam Underhill to the bench.
Guy Pepper shifts to openside flanker, completing the team's adjustments. Chessum previously featured at lock in the Championship's first three games before moving to the back row. Following a significant overhaul after the Ireland loss, Borthwick retains much of the squad that faced Italy, despite a disappointing 23-18 defeat. England aims to finish the tournament on a stronger note against a French side vying for the title.
"It’s a huge challenge under the lights in Paris against a very strong France side," Borthwick stated. "England v France is one of the great rivalries in international rugby and we’re looking forward to the occasion."
England's starting lineup includes Elliot Daly at fullback, with Ben Spencer at scrum-half and Fin Smith at fly-half. The forward pack features Ben Earl at number eight and Maro Itoje in the second row.
