Canada’s World Cup squad is set. Coach Jesse Marsch announced the 26-man roster Friday, confirming captain Alphonso Davies will play despite a recent hamstring injury.

The Bayern Munich star hurt himself in the Champions League semi-final but is expected to join the team in Edmonton on May 31 for rehabilitation.

Juventus forward Jonathan David is also on the squad. The roster includes few surprises, though popular veteran Junior Hoilett was left out at age 36-Marsch values speed.

The starting goalkeeper remains undecided. Marsch says he is “tormented” by the choice between Maxime Crépeau of Orlando City and Dayne St. Clair of Inter Miami. A decision is expected in the coming days.
