Violence erupted in Paris late Wednesday after PSG's Champions League semi-final win over Bayern Munich, leading to 127 arrests and multiple injuries, including 23 police officers with minor wounds.
Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez condemned the disturbances, noting 11 people were hurt-one seriously-and that rioters targeted police, looted shops, and set bins and cars ablaze. An attempt to block the Paris ringroad was prevented.
Despite the chaos, most celebrations were peaceful. Paris Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire, who watched the match at City Hall, plans a fan zone for the May 30 final in Budapest but faces Nuñez's warning that no further unrest will be tolerated.

Last year's final victory against Inter Milan saw hundreds arrested and two fatalities in France. This year, photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand's outdoor exhibition was vandalized during the violence.
