RCD Espanyol is finalizing a loan deal for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Gabriel Moscardo. The Spanish club will cover his salary for the temporary move, which does not include an option to buy.
The 20-year-old Brazilian has been on a series of loans since PSG signed him from Corinthians for €20 million in January 2024. He has played for Corinthians, Reims, and most recently Braga, making 23 appearances last season.
His contract with PSG runs until 2028. The lack of a purchase clause indicates the Parisian club still values the young player and is not ready to sell him permanently.
Espanyol reportedly beat out competition from Getafe and Real Valladolid for Moscardo's services, with negotiations described as advanced.
